Packing Essentials for an Easter Getaway

As Easter approaches, the allure of a weekend getaway beckons.  Whether you're escaping down south (and dreading the traffic) or off to Rotto, packing efficiently is key to enjoying a stress-free holiday.  With cooler morning and the promise of long, leisurely lunches, striking the right balance between comfort and style is essential.

Here's a guide to help you pack your bag for an Easter getaway that's practical, comfortable and chic.

1. Layer up for cool mornings

After our hottest summer in memory, the weather is finally turning and the mornings can be brisk.  Opt for versatile pieces like long sleeve tees, lightweight knits, cardigans and scarves that can easily be added or removed as the temperature fluctuates.

2. Comfortable daytime dressing

For daytime activities like exploring local markets or beautiful nature walks, prioritise comfort without sacrificing style.  Pack fabrics that travel well and are comfy!  Don't forget your favourite trainers.

3. Dressy outfit for a long lunch

Easter calls for celebrations and a long, leisurely lunch is often a highlight of the weekend.  Pack a dressy outfit that exudes sophistication while remaining comfortable enough for extended dining.  We love Me369 for a fun statement.

4. Accessories to elevate your look

Add some personality and flair to your outfit with some bold earrings or sunglasses.  A hat not only offers you sun protection but adds polish to your outfit.  A stylish crossbody bag completes your outfit whiles keeping your essentials close to hand.

5. Versatile Evening attire

Easter evenings my call for a mix of casual gatherings or more formal dinners.  Pack versatile pieces that can easily transition from day to night, such as a tailored blazer.  A fabulous knit dress packs well and looks amazing.

6. Practical Essentials

Don't forget to pack practical essentials such as sunscreen, a wide brimmed hat and a reusable water bottle for staying hydrated.  We never take our Murph & Murph picnic rug out of the car.  It's perfect for the beach or park.

Enjoy your Easter with family, friends and lots of yummy food.  Happy travels!
