What's happening on Wellington St?

We've had a LOT of questions about the Mos Lane development on the corner of Wellington St, Manning St and Samson St so Kate is here to let you know what's happening for Darling & Domain!

FAQ - Are you closing while the development happens?

Kate - No way!  We love our little community and will continue to fling our doors open and offer you the best collection of fashion, homewares and gifts in the western suburbs.

FAQ - Where can I park to visit Darling & Domain?

Kate - Right out the front!  We're open 9-5pm weekdays and 9-4pm on Saturdays and you can park outside the shop on Wellington, across the road or walk from home.

FAQ - When will demolition and construction start and how long will it take?

Kate - At this stage it looks like demolition will start sometime after May 2025 and with completition in 2027.

FAQ - What about your neighbours?

Our lovely neighbours on Wellington St are all staying open!  Open Book, Good Things, Hair on Wellington, Simply Beautiful Biscuits and the Post Office all remain in their spaces.  We are super excited that Clark and his team from the pharmacy have moved into the space between the post office and Simply Beautiful Biscuits.

FAQ - How will you manage with the construction surrounding Darling & Domain?

Kate - We have lots of exciting things planned; new labels, workshops, exhibitions and we will offer kerbside pickup, home delivery and some personal styling nights.  We adore our local community and will be doing everything we can to continue to provide exceptional service and beautiful fashion, homewares and gifts to our loyal customers.
