Portishead Robe in Sway is a study in fluid drape and relaxed structure, designed to move effortlessly with the body. A beloved successor to the Alex Kimono, the silhouette falls from the shoulder into a plunging neckline that cascades into a sculptural front drape, creating natural shape through the waist without restriction. Crafted from a luminous liquid satin, the fabric enhances the drape with a soft sheen, allowing the folds to catch the light and emphasise movement.
The robe-like construction offers ease through the upper body, while the skirt follows the form with a long, fluid line. Balanced by relaxed kimono sleeves and a clean, minimal back, the design maintains a sense of ease while offering subtle structure through the waist seam. A centre back split allows for movement, reinforcing the fluidity of the silhouette.
